I’m sitting here the day after Christmas still feeling the after glow of the holidays . . .
So far, it’s been a great ride—received lots of nice goodies, been able to spend time with some of my very best friends, seeing the looks of excitement on my kids faces ripping open their presents, and best of all the love generated throughout the holiday season.
You know I’ve got a lot to be thankful for! And you think about it you probably do to!
As you know most of my posts are marketing related. And you know I’m running a marketing “rat lab” to see what actually works and what doesn’t work.
And you my friend get to share to love and fruits of my labor.
And yes, there is a lesson buried in this article somewhere, I promise.
But first I’d like to thank each and every one of you for joining the ride with me. I’m thankful for each of you—for making it all possible. You may not realize it but you provide thrust, the momentum, the drive and inspiration to keep this project ongoing.
Now I’d like for you think about some of your marketing activities. Which ones give you the most satisfaction both in emotions and dollars? Doesn’t one particular campaign or ad stick out above the rest?
We in direct response marketing constantly strive to beat the control. The control as you already know is the ad, sales letter, email promotion that gives the absolute best ROI. It’s the top gun promotion that brings in the bacon.
It gives us that warm “after glow” that reassures, boosts, and gives us the confidence to keep going and do even better next time.
So here’s your challenge for 2010: How can you serve your clients and prospects better?
Your answer to this simple question will leave your purse fuller, your heart and soul glad knowing you have done the best job possible to really care for your customers.
I know that it’s sound mushy but if you “love” your customer, they’ll “love” you back by favoring your business time and time again. You’ll be the first and logical choice when looking to purchase that special gizmo.
Stay tuned and help me spread the word here cuz I’ve got some really cool free stuff you’re gonna love coming up in the first part of 2010.
Wishing you the most prosperous year ever!
Warmly,
Emette
